NTM Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist I with 2+ years of experience to fill a full-time position in our Dillsburg, PA office. An associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field experience, is required. The position reports to the Technology Director and also works closely with our external IT consultant. The qualified candidate will be experienced in troubleshooting Windows 10 computers and peripherals in a Windows network environment. Outstanding customer service skills both verbal and written is required and applicant must have strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for developing solutions in a detail-orientated, fast-paced environment. Occasional travel will be required.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, printers, hardware, and many specialty software applications
- Respond to incoming calls, messages, and/or emails regarding laptops, desktops, software, and/or hardware problems
- Handles the IT equipment setup for hew hires and office moves
- Support, install, troubleshoot, and provide training on Microsoft 365 and Teams
- Install and support specialty engineering software; work with vendors’ technical support staff to resolve complex problems
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and WiFi issues
- Manage Active Directory users, computers, and printer objects
- Configure, manage, maintain, and support video conference and AV equipment
- Maintain an inventory of computers, software, and other peripheral equipment
- Provide occasional technical assistance after regular hours
- Travel to State College and Philadelphia, PA, offices as needed
Job Skills and Abilities:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS extremely helpful
- Advanced knowledge troubleshooting Windows computers (both hardware and software)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding customer service skills both verbal and written
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for developing solutions in a detail-orientated, fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior experience with Sysaid is a plus
- Must be able to lift and move various computer hardware up to 50 pounds as well as see a computer monitor
- Must have current PA driver’s license
