Johnathan (John) is the Office Manager of our State College, PA location and a senior project manager in our Stormwater & Civil/Site Division. His background includes working on PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission transportation projects, including managing and designing a variety of large- and small-scale transportation projects in both urban and rural settings. He has over 19 years of experience in all aspects of transportation design but specializes in water resources with an emphasis on stormwater management, erosion and sediment pollution control, hydrology and hydraulic studies, and drainage systems. Mr. Yamashita’s background also includes preparing and coordinating NPDES and waterway permits, and he offers experience in preparing drawings and issuing quantities, specifications, and cost estimates. Mr. Yamashita is also a certified PennDOT instructor and provides training on water resources topics within the context of design manual procedures.
