Statewide Quality Assurance Bridge Inspections

This project included the quality assurance (QA) bridge inspections for 30 bridges in each PennDOT District, of which 15 were state-owned and 15 were locally-owned bridges. A QA load rating evaluation was also conducted for each site. NTM was responsible for 118 QA bridge inspections in Districts 3-0, 4-0, and 6-0 in 2009 and 2010. In October 2012, NTM completed the first cycle of the follow-on contract in District 5-0, through which NTM completed QA inspections of 20 bridges and 16 load rating analyses. In October 2014, NTM completed the second cycle of inspections in District 5-0, through which NTM completed QA inspections of 19 bridges and 18 load rating analyses.
