NTM Engineering was part of a contract to provide technical support and outreach assistance for the Philadelphia Water Department to assist with augmenting existing regulations included under the Department’s Stormwater Management Guidance Manual and Stormwater Management Regulations. The Manual serves as the private development community’s primary source of stormwater management information.
All regulations were redeveloped to meet regulatory responsibilities as outlined in the Department’s Consent Order and Agreement with the PA DEP. The regulatory updates provide flexible compliance options for regulated sites by focusing on incentive-based regulations, and the regulatory changes were reflected in the Stormwater Management Guidance Manual’s redevelopment.
NTM was responsible for planning, developing several chapters, QA/QC review of other chapters, and developing the new worksheets, which are interactive and self-computing.
