- What is your favorite memory at NTM OR what’s and early memory from your first year? Hands down, the first Christmas, 2008. We were in the old building, and Bethany Kavulich and I did the holiday decorations. We went all out, she cut mirrors so we could have a village with ice skating, I found some buildings to put around. We sprayed all the windows with fake snow (Kevin had to touch it and left a finger mark in it!). For a party we went to the Allenberry Playhouse, and we had an actual blizzard! Everyone made it safely, including a new employee, Dave Miraglia.
- What is something your co-workers might not know about you OR what are some things you enjoy doing outside of work? I am a bit of a DIY remodeler. In all I have remodeled 8 homes! One we gutted all the way down to the studs and rebuilt. I have left my favorite signature in most of them, sculpted ceilings. I learned to do it as a teenager when I helped my dad remodel our house. In the process I have discovered I love tools! My favorite for a long time was the Sawzall, for obvious reasons. Right now, I am loving the electric planer since we have a sawmill and need it to get the boards ready for use.
- What is one of your proudest NTM moments or biggest accomplishments? We were still a small company in January of 2009, but we all realized that Quickbooks and Sharepoint were not going to work for us much longer. The principals made the decision to convert to Deltek Vision before things got out of hand. I was very proud that they trusted me with the project. I hired a part-time person to help with data entry and over a two-month period we worked tirelessly to get data entered and processes setup. A year later we added CRM to be able to track Opportunities and Contacts. Now, here we are 11 years later, doing the same thing with Vantagepoint!
