- What is your favorite memory at NTM? NTM Christmas Party – I love having everyone together to relax and have a great evening and it is wonderful to get to spend time with our employees and their spouse/significant other.
- What has been one of your most interesting projects and why? Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project – For this project, NTM worked with the contractor, Trumbull Corporation, to modify environmental permits for various constructions phases. Due to T&E species, there were several restrictions on timing of work, areas of impact, etc. As I usually work on the design side of projects, it was really interesting to learn some of the issues that contractors face with construction techniques and the permits that are established by the designers.
- What are some things you enjoy doing outside of work? I love riding horses. Before we had kids, I owned a horse and used to ride and do some jumping. I hope to get back to riding horses again when our kids are both in college.
- What is one of your proudest NTM moments or biggest accomplishments? One of my proudest moments was in 2014 when NTM received the very first “Best Places to Work in PA” Award. This was the first year we were large enough to submit for the award and to find out that we ranked 3rd in small businesses was a very rewarding moment. The four principals had hoped to build a firm where everyone felt they were part of a team and we were employee focused with benefits, flexibility for work life balance and this moment was a realization that we had accomplished that goal.
