NTM Engineering happily announces that we have again been named one of the Best Places to Work in PA. After making the 2014 list last year (the first time NTM participated in the program), we vowed to make this an annual event and are pleased join this elite group of 100 top Pennsylvania employers. The awards program is a public/private partnership among Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resources Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal.
“We were very pleased to hear that NTM again made the list for 2015. We truly value all of our employees and their contributions to the success of NTM Engineering. This award means that our employees recognize how important they are to NTM and that we have succeeded in creating a great work environment,” commented NTM President Donna Newell, MS, PE, CFM. “Additionally, the feedback from the program will help us evaluate future policies and programs that would benefit our firm.”
The Best Places to Work in PA survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor Pennsylvania’s best places of employment and highlight those firms that benefit the state’s economy and its workforce. Employers are categorized based upon the total number of U.S. employees, 25-249 employees and 250 or more employees. To be considered for participation, NTM had to be a for-profit or not-for-profit business, be a publicly or privately held business, have a Pennsylvania facility, have at least 25 employees working in Pennsylvania, and be in business a minimum of one year.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA. The first part of this process was evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
NTM will be recognized at the Best Places to Work in PA awards banquet on December 3, 2015, at the Lancaster County Convention Center. The top 100 rankings will be revealed at this ceremony.
