NTM President Donna Newell, PE, CFM will be presenting at the 2026 National Hydraulic Engineering Conference at the Hotel Champlain Burlington in Burlington, Vermont. The 13th biennial conference theme, “Fast and Fluid-ous: Racing the Storm Surge of Innovation,” will focus on the critical need for transportation agencies to evolve in a rapidly changing world. The conference will take place August 25-28, 2026.
Donna will be presenting the “Interstate 676 Post-Hurricane Ida Flood Study” during the Thursday, August 27 Post-Disaster Hydraulic Modeling session. The presentation will discuss the two-dimensional (2D) hydraulic study that was developed to evaluate conditions during Hurricane Ida on Interstate 676 (I-676) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
