NTM Engineering, Inc.’s President Donna Newell was nominated and just awarded a 2014 Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Mid-Atlantic Region Award by the Top 100 MBEs program that honors minority and women entrepreneurs. Donna will accept the 2014 Top 100 MBE award at the October 23, 2014, awards ceremony at the War Memorial Building in Baltimore, Maryland, which is being held in conjunction with the 2014 Minority Enterprise Development Week.
The Top 100 MBE Awards program is the mid-Atlantic’s only regional awards program that honors outstanding women and minority business owners in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and the District of Columbia. The program received nearly 4,000 nominations this year. The award judging is based on outstanding achievement in business development, client satisfaction, professional affiliations, and community involvement. To be nominated, Donna had to be a 1) minority or women business owner located in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, or Delaware; 2) have a firm in operation for a minimum of three years; and 3) have a firm in good standing with the states of Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and DC.
