NTM Principal Jeff MacKay, MS, PE, CPESC presented at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) Annual Meeting held in State College, PA, on October 6, 2015. Jeff’s presentation, PennDOT: Compliance Challenges, Innovative Approaches, and Program Updates, covered several topics, including managing stormwater runoff in the highway environment, common challenges faced in the NPDES Permit process, stormwater solutions for challenging sites, maintenance of stormwater control measures (SCMs), PennDOT’s MS4 Permit, and an update on the P3 Rapid Bridge Replacement program. Over 100 people attended Jeff’s presentation. He also sat on a panel to answer questions. The PA DEP holds this meeting every year for its regional offices and county conservation districts.
