NTM Principal Jeff MacKay, MS, PE, CPESC participated as a volunteer speaker for a Career Cluster session for students at Northern Middle School in Dillsburg, PA, on February 11, 2016. The session was part of the Junior Achievement YES! program, a day-long program held at the middle school-level, consisting of a series of activities to help students appreciate the key issues surrounding careers and financial responsibility. Volunteers were asked to speak to the students describing their work industry and to provide details about their career, including skills and talents needed, challenges and surprises of their job, required education and training, and more. Jeff spoke of the various sectors of the civil engineering field, education and certifications needed, and several projects he has been involved with.
