NTM Senior Project Manager Mark Bowen, PE, CFM presented to a full house at the PA Land Development Conference (for contractors, engineers, and developers) on March 3, 2016, at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College, PA. Mark gave two presentations. The first, “How to Bid it Right,” covered proper ways for contractors and developers to bid properly amidst the changes in stormwater BMP construction. Mark’s second presentation, “Contract Management for Permit Termination,” addressed ways to structure contracts to allow for stormwater BMP certification and permit termination.
The PA Land Development Conference was part of the 2016 Land Development Day that took place during the Pennsylvania Housing Research Center’s Industry Education Week. The day focused on emerging design, regulatory, planning, and stormwater issues affecting the land development industry. Both presentations were well-received and provided important and relevant information to the attendees.
