Technical Training and Course Development
NTM Engineering developed and instructs the PennDOT Bureau of Design’s highly rated Hydrologic and Hydraulic Professional Development Series and the Highway Drainage Professional Development Series. The H&H and Drainage series were the first customized courses ever developed by PennDOT.
The training courses, eight out of ten of which were developed by NTM Engineering, focus on PennDOT practices and specifications. The courses are geared toward federal, state, local, and consulting H&H and drainage engineers who have responsibility for the design and analysis of highway stream crossings and drainage systems. NTM developed the following technical training courses and currently manages them under a contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
