NTM Training
NTM develops and instructs technical training courses on hydrology and hydraulics (H&H), stormwater, and erosion and sedimentation control. Their water resources experts teach:

- Technical training courses for other agencies and consultants
Since 2005, NTM's staff has instructed more than 50 course offerings in various locations across PA. Past course attendees have included participants from:

- All of PADEP's regional offices
- Army Corps of Engineers
- PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
- PA Fish and Boat Commission
- Consultants from more than 50 engineering firms

Training Courses Through PennDOT
NTM Engineering developed and instructs the PennDOT Bureau of Project Delivery’s highly rated Hydrologic and Hydraulic Professional Development Series and the Highway Drainage Professional Development Series. The H&H and Drainage series were the first customized courses ever developed by PennDOT.
The training courses, eight out of ten of which were developed by NTM Engineering, focus on PennDOT practices and specifications. The courses are geared toward federal, state, local, and consulting H&H and drainage engineers who have responsibility for the design and analysis of highway stream crossings and drainage systems. NTM developed the following technical training courses and currently manages them under a contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
