SR 1001 over Little Juniata River
Client: PennDOT District 9-0
Location: Antis Township, Blair County, PA
The existing four-span bridge that carries SR 1001 over the Little Juniata River is being replaced due to structural deficiencies. PennDOT will build a similarly sized three-span bridge on the same horizontal and vertical alignments, providing increased load-carrying capacity and improving hydraulic efficiency. NTM Engineering completed the hydrologic and hydraulic study as well as an erosion and sediment control plan for the site.
