SR 0044 over Oswayo Creek

Location: Shinglehouse Borough, Potter County, PA
The bridge that carries SR 0044 over Oswayo Creek in Shinglehouse Borough, Potter County, PA, is being replaced. The existing four-span pre-stressed concrete adjacent box beam bridge will be replaced with a two-span pre-stressed concrete spread box beam bridge. The USGS stream gage immediately upstream of the bridge and highwater marks on adjacent buildings were used to calibrate the hydraulic model. The drainage area to the site is 98.7 square miles.
